Are you a driven college or high school student enthusiastic about making education accessible for all? If so, look no further than Wave Learning Festival’s open application for its summer term!

Wave is a global, nonprofit organization seeking to address long-standing inequities in education opportunities. We believe in a world where students, regardless of socioeconomic background, can explore new interests, ignite a passion for learning and succeed. Some of our initiatives include free tutoring, workshops, college application help and career mentorship. Wave empowers students in their learning by emphasizing unique subjects that often go unexplored in the education system, as well as nurturing a worldwide community. Read more about our story here, and don’t hesitate to visit our website.

At Wave, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in directly impactful work that serves thousands of students from around the world. This is your opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team of students with whom you can build your skill sets (whether they be for leadership, business, coding, writing, design, video, teaching, communication, etc.) and grow through real-world projects. Wave also grants volunteer services hours and nominates team members each year for the Presidential Service Awards.

Here’s what current Wave members have to say about their experience:

“Working with Wave has been an amazing opportunity for professional and personal growth. I’ve learned an incredible amount about nonprofit law, fundraising, and outreach, while also honing my leadership skills as a director and team lead. Seeing our growth from a tiny team of college friends to an international organization that has helped thousands of students has been extremely humbling and gratifying. I would definitely encourage anyone interested in education and public service to get involved!” — Carter Martindale, Legal Lead & former Director of Business

“Part of what makes Wave such a fulfilling experience is that you get to watch the efforts you put in as a team member truly change the world in real time. As impact numbers go up, student testimonials roll in, and our services improve, you get the amazing feeling that you are part of an enormous movement for change.” — Ana Rodrigues, Northeast Outreach Lead
